I love creating lasting treasured memories and artwork for new parents in my beautiful studio located at White House Farm in Norwich. It may be your first trip out with baby, so its important it is something remarkable.
The first weeks of a newborn baby are very special but also fly by in no time. With everything that is going on plus the lack of sleep everyone forgets, very quickly, those special moments. Before you know it your baby is one month old and has changed.
During the Newborn Experience I capture that unique newborn freshness of the little one by creating both minimalistic and composite photos. Making sure we end up with the natural soft and mega cute details of your newborn baby.
It’s so important to commit to memory how your baby looks when it’s that young and having a professional photo album that will be passed on to their grandchildren is the best way to make sure it’s never forgotten.
When is best to book your Newborn Baby Photography Session?
Newborn portraiture is traditionally completed between 5 and 15 days old. However, due to the pandemic and the multiple closures, I have had a lot of older newborns in and I have to say, I’m loving them too! Yes they might not sleep but the awake photos are just adorable too. What I am saying is don’t worry I can still capture timeless images and tailor the session to baby’s needs whatever their age.
The best time to book your session is as soon as you can following your 20-week scan but if you are reading this now and little is due, or here already, still get in touch because I try to accommodate where I can.
Newborn Experience Session
Starting with a pre-consultation zoom session, we will discuss what images you really love and want to capture, what colours you would like to incorporate in your session, colour cohesiveness for the family photos and what you would like to do with the photos after the session i.e. have a statement piece on your wall, gifts for the grandparents, create a gorgeous keepsake album etc.
Each session lasts 3 hours in the comfort of The Studio. There is plenty of time for feeding and cuddles with baby, as well as some time for you as new parents to relax and have some refreshments whilst I capture your beautiful photos. As with all sessions use of my props, blankets and wraps is included and these sessions will include some family images. If you have other children, we can include them and get some gorgeous sibling images.
Following the session, I will edit the best 20 images from the session and invite you back to the studio for your gallery reveal appointment where you will view your images for the first time and select your package.
I will also be able to create some mock up designs of any wall pieces you have been thinking of and help you choose some superb keepsake items for other important family members, if you wish.
It really is a top notch full service package.
A £99 non-refundable deposit needs to be paid to secure the booking, remaining balance to be paid at the viewing appointment.
