With every service, there are a few questions and concerns that come up time and time again. Here are the 3 things my clients say before their maternity photoshoot.

I really want to feel beautiful this pregnancy but I am worried about having a maternity photoshoot and looking awkward.

This is a main concern of anyone about to get in front of the camera regardless whether they are in for a newborn session, family session or maternity session. There really is no need to worry because I will show you how to sit/stand/lay and make sure that you look comfortable and relaxed in your pictures. I look at everything from the tips of your toes to the angle of your face, always looking to flatter and make sure the light is just right to highlight all the best bits.

I love the nude maternity photos but I’m not sure I’m brave enough to get my kit off.

Luckily, you don’t have to. But if you want to you can. I always start in a crop top or body suit and then some sheer dresses and then the materials (chiffon/silk/tulle). You are welcome to keep your undies on or if you feel like it, and you want to, you can take them off. Rest assured, I am not looking at your stuff and being judgy. I am making sure the more intimate parts are tastefully not visible by posing you to cover the essentials and still look fire.

I want to remember my pregnancy. This is why I want a maternity photoshoot.

Some of us feel rubbish in the maternity months. Some feel amazing. What is certain and I can speak from experience, you will feel grateful and love the bump as much as the newborn. I am not saying its always glamourous… hell no! But it is extraordinary and should be celebrated and remembered. I want to help you achieve that through gorgeous imagery and a wonderful empowering experience. Trust me, I got you.
