Top 5 Cafes for New Mums in Norwich

When it comes to cafes in Norwich, we are absolutely spoiled for choice in the city centre. However, when I was a new mum, I didn’t always feel up for hauling myself into town and just wanted to pop somewhere a bit quieter, eat my cake, have a natter and be off home again. Here are my top 5 cafes for New Mums in Norwich.

White House Farm, Sprowston

Ok so I might be a little biased here because my gorgeous studio is also located on this site. However, I kid you not when I say they know how to make a mean coffee or a pot of tea. Thats right, POT! They do a small brunch/lunch menu and gorgeous cakes/pastries. It was somewhere I loved to visit, even before I was based there. To go to their website, click here.

The Willows, Drayton

If its a full on brekkie you are looking for, this is the place to be. From pastries to the good ole full English, there is always something that’s going to hit the spot. Downstairs and upstairs seating so leave the pram in the car at this one.

Nottcutts, South West of the City

A firm favourite for granny’s throughout Norwich, this garden centre has an excellent cafe. The main plus for this cafe is, it’s very spacious, so buggies welcome. Its a canteen style kitchen so you have to go up, order and go back to your table with a thing that tells them where you are sat. Genius!

The Forum, City Center

I know I said this was about cafes not in the city centre but hear me out. When I was a new um, this is where my Antinatal class mamas met. It was easily accessible for those who needed to walk or bus and you can part at The Forum, do the coffee and go back home without trudging through the streets of Norwich. Tons of space for buggies here and friendly staff means its a worthy mention.

Pavilion Cafe, Waterloo Park

It’s back! This is a great one if you fancy a walk and some fresh air as well as some cafe action. With lovely surroundings, Waterloo park is fab for people with kids of all ages. In the summer, the splash pad is usually on for the little ones to run around in too. Be fair warned, on hot weekends it can get super busy.

These are my picks for the top 5 cafes for New Mums in Norwich.
